First time experience char ran very late and did not clean windows and used our products when we paid for them. Not the best. Once a recurring appointment is cancelled in its entirety, the future appointments should disappear too. Can this please be fixed in the app? disgusted with the service received - the helper didnot even take pride in making up the bed Convenient, but even though you forced me to book a minimum of 3 hours, the sweeping agent you sent was in a hurry to leave and didn't really do a fantastic job because she wanted to leave after just 2 hours. And though we have not even met the lady who will be assisting us with cleaning, she has been very professional and friendly in regards to her contact with us. I recommend sweepsouth when asked by friends if I know of a domestic service. Recommend that your online booking system is more flexible and that we can have maybe a free text field as the info you require is very limited, ie "number of bedrooms & bathrooms". What I have found from previous bookings is that the cleaners don't clean properly & in my case the one time didn't even finish as I paid an extra half an hour for them to clean the oven/stove and they didn't get to that and I have minimal furniture for them to dust, they didn't wash dishes or make the beds. Will never use Sweepsouth again. Unreliable cleaners that do not show up. I already have recommended you. Would probably help if you could provide the ladies with GPS locations (most have smart phones) - or even maps - of the houses so they can get there easily. Wish we could delete old jobs so that our dashboard has a clearer view of what's current. Wish we could alter times etc. to our jobs without having to re-create a whole new job. If they get the feedback and get to see for themselves how they sweep star performed then your feedback would be more effective and objective Its been over a month i have used Sweepsouth, so far I have had 3 different people come through. I had to change date for my next appointment and yet again i have someone else. I just find i have to explain myself every week. It makes it very difficult, as every week i need to be there. ON the other hand, its good as if you not happy with the work you can change. I would like to receive a break down what they do. My friend that recommended you, received a card on what work they need to do. Would prefer to receive it The first lady that came to my Moms property, had an attitude. Attitude is a big no no for me. And she didn't do what Sweepsouth promised on the website. And she left way before her time according to your app. She also didn't like being instructed on what was needed. If your staff don't want to follow a legal valid request, with an attitude to boot, she doesn't belong in your business. Service is everything. The payment method was a nightmare and I am still awaiting feedback. If it's inconvenient to get a payment done, the service becomes inconvenient, and then I will reconsider using the service at all. I booked for cleaning supplies to be brought with but it either did not pull through on the booking or it was forgotten. Other than that, I can already see the quality of cleaning is great. SweepSouth is a novel ideal, very good. I have wondered about the option to include Handy South or GardenerSouth. I often need a little help around the house with the garden or to tidy up the yard. I have considered picking up one of the okes that miff outside Builder's Warehouse all day but I have never done so as I have heard horror stories of how houses are broken into days after having picked up such a person, wifes are raped and people end up with their throats slashed in their own car boots. Background checks and some sort of responsibility like with the domestic workers will make me much more likely to book a helping hand for outside the house. They tend to revert to how they have always been doing things which leaves us generally unhappy. Too many household cleaning activities are added as extras. N/A Although I think this is a really great service being offered, I think some more time needs to be spend with the cleaners and clarifying what the "normal" responsibilities are as advertised on the webpage and making sure that they too are aware of what is expected. My expectation is that they fulfill the chores listed on the Home page and the optional extra's and feel that they are not always aware of what is required/ or perhaps what is listed there.. Disappointed when Sweepstars arrive late and when items are broken. The gal we had clean for us was amazing. Cleaners should be reminded to move things (appliances, furniture) and not just clean around them. Yes, if you choose an option (bring own cleaning products or clean inside of cupboards) then you expect that to happen. The cleaners have to travel far on own expense so they are seldom late or do not know where to find the place. I thing sweetsouth should drop and collect their workers. The cleaner is not on the same standard....so depends on your luck if you can get one that really know how to clean the house. Yes! More discounts should be given to existing clients who's also using your services! The ladies or I can only attest of the ones that were working for me, are not very keen on moving furniture and carpets away to clean underneath it. Toilet was not wiped cleaned. When the requested cleaner is unavailable, i like to be notified then i choose my on substitute. I have a bad experience with the replacement. Booking was painless and easy. I just think some of the ladies can do with a bit of basic training when it comes to cleaning mirrors/windows and dishwashing. Maybe provide them with a small training booklet. After the last clean I had to redo all the mirrors - they were smeared. Very good service My only thing is that sometimes SweepStars are running a bit late, or you don't hear the doorbell (in my case, for instance, mine doesn't work) and it's often difficult to make direct contact. Perhaps ensure they have a bit of airtime and data, and a small charging block and cable so you/they can always be in touch. Otherwise, literally everything else is perfect! The service is fantastic, but there still isn't a way to edit future bookings individually in the app which is inconvenient at times. Too many changes re. the Sweepstar for any particular appointment. No one wants a new person in their home every month, especially if you have not even met them before and have to leave the security of your home up to a total stranger. Sweepsouth is a really great idea, i love the simplicity of being able to book a cleaning service for any day or time unfortunately the experience we've received from the cleaning ladies for the past two years has always been lackluster, they do not show much care or interest in the job and do ONLY the bear minimum in terms of cleaning. Our current cleaning lady that we have booked on a recurring basis has started doing less and less work, showing no care in how she cleans or packs away items etc. This is an Achilles heel of sweepsouth at the moment. Yesterday I made payment for 13 April and today I get invoice saying I have not paid???? I use a Sweepstar every second Friday (a standing recurring appointment) at my offices for a half day. My problem is that I have never seem to get the same lady back and I need to take the time to run through what I need done every time someone new arrives. Is there not a dedicated pool of ladies that you have that only want to work a half day so that I can have the opportunity to keep the same person for most of my appointments? It gets very frustrating to rehash the routine with someone new each time. I really didn’t get a good clean - I may as well have spent the day doing it myself Some sweepstars cancel too late, and I get delayed! An amazingly efficient process, wonderful staff. It’s not fair if they have to travel so far that it’s not worth their while The first cleaner could not arrive, as there were train delays on that Saturday & i really needed my place cleaned for a function and so I hired another cleaner who came on Sunday where I was greatly inconvenienced as I had to rush home directly after church. In the few months that I have been using you, I have noticed a marked decline in your effectiveness in administration. It is very worrying. I understand that you are experiencing rapid growth but your attraction was not just your excellent cleaning staff, it was also your good pricing and outstanding client service administratively in the beginning. It is also worrying that you ask for tips for the workers. Are they not being paid fairly? It should be spontanious from a client to give a tip in person. I would love to be able to give you a score of 9 or 10, however, I can't because I've had inconsistent service driven primarily through always having to train someone new. I very seldom have the same person come to my house. Every time I get someone I really like and who is good at what they do, I never see them again. You service sucks! Apart from the house cleaning, I also paid for the walls to be cleaned and the windows, neither happened, because the cleaner did not have time. I was sent a voucher for the 2 hours of work that didn't happen, instead of a refund. I will probably not use this service again, so I've wasted money for nothing, as I will not use the voucher either... We had two people who cancelled because they were scared of our two bunnies before they came to our house. It would be great if we could write a little profile and that they read it before they accept the request. The one lady accepted our request and her profile said she does not work around cats or dogs. When I sent sent her a messaged and asked her if she will be okay with our bunnies in the cage, she cancelled the appointment. As customers, we need to counter sign the checklist as the ladies tick items without completing the task. We are told that the ladies are sent for training but nowadays, the calibre of work done seems to be lacking. What is the training performed as the ladies are getting worse Find it difficult getting a sweepstar of choice. It would be nice when you book a specific person that that person is the one who arrives. Most cleaning appointments have been great but now and then we've been unhappy with the person or the quality of work. This is a fantastic service you provide. Thank you. You make a booking and the sweepstar selected randomly gets changed, so you have re show the new one everything in your house. Replacement sent was terrified of the dogs (why not have the customer advise if they have dogs, then don't assign any sweepstars who are afraid of dogs to those customers). Nearly every booking was late (one over 2 hours), despite clear directions. Two bookings never pitched at all. When you request washing windows, does that mean wiping of the frames and windowsills or actually cleaning the internal glass? I have recommended Sweepsouth before and will continue too, my friends that signed up love you guys! However, this past Sunday Thembela did not show for my booked clean, and I have had no feedback as to what happened and whether or not she is alright. every cleaner I have had seems to have different strengths/weaknesses. some are exceptional others just average. so i never get the same level of service each time. I don't think there is any day whereby I used your services and was happy...your ladies needs proper training. There was a time where one lady didn't even remove the rug in my lounge, she just wiped around it. I was there I saw it. Most of my experiences with Sweepsouth have been bad to be honest, people did not show up and then they were late. It would be quite embarrassing referring you'll to someone else and then you'll do the same to them. Great service I dont think you do a thorough security checks of the ladies. Love the service - waiting for expansion to Southern Cape for holiday home! Good, save for the ironing aspect - cleaner not well versed in how to do this well. Your cleaners always lie about just how much time they spent cleaning. The cleaning should be noted down as time time they started and finished, not once they've left my premises and then thy log out often an hour later. Then you guys try to charge me for extra time- it's not honest. Your cleaners need to spend the time cleaning, not having extended food breaks and talking to each other all the time when you request 2 ladies to work together for the day, then they still don't complete the work, so what's the point of paying more for 2 ladies for 9,5 hrs total clean and only your kitchen,lounge and bathroom gets done. I have never recommended you to anybody and I never will. I keep giving the service chances and I'm always disappointed by the result. It's not enough to have friendly ladies. They need to finish the work and not overcharge. Apps needs some additional enhancements The only criticism I can give is that I haven't had a lady stay within the estimated time to finish all her task, which means I have had to pay to almost R200 more than the initial quote. I feel that therefore the estimated time on the app is not very accurate. Other than that its a very good service. You should allow more editing functions besides just cancelling, even if they have to go into a review queue, where a ticket is created. This will greatly sort and reduce your support requests and allow you to streamline processes - eg, You missed my last request by not answering it even though it was submitted 3 days before my appointment. I did not get the same cleaner that I was expecting (I received a detailed email about somebody else). I think you should consider paying higher wages (I know it would push the cost for the customer up). "I have not used SweepSouth for a couple of months now, and probably will not use your company again. You advertise that you train your staff, which is not true at all. When I enquired about training of staff, I was told that you do not train them....yet you advertise this!!! When you interview staff, they obviously say that they have experience in this field, but clearly you do not check this out, see how they clean or better still, see if they know the correct way of ironing!! Cleaning is relatively easy to do, but attitude towards the job is paramount. All the girls that came to work for me were lovely people, however, many did not listen to instructions given. This resulted in one of them causing R1000 damage to my fridge as I had to import a new electronic part for the said area!! Some either had no idea how to do the job or worked slowly, stretching out the work time to earn more money! Had a bad experience with a girl that did not sweep and when I spoke to her she sweeped around the carpet. I did report it and was given discount on next booking. Majority girls do clean well. I do recommend alot of people I found that using a certain sweepstar more than once make them more prone to put up special requests e.g. one phoned me on a Saturday when I was at a family function to take her to the taxi rank, subsequent cleanings by the same Sweepstar not as properly done as the first or 2nd times. Nandipha was on time and friendly, but I had to tell her to move the furniture and clean behind it, after she said she was done in the rooms. She didn't clean inside the microwave or move anything on the kitchen counters. She also didn't clean the tiles inside the shower So far no problems with the company of the Sweepsouth stars We went through a few cleaners before we found Dudzai. We are so happy with her. The value your service brings is so much about the caliber of your Sweepstars. If you don't already I suggest that you have an incentive / reward scheme to motivate all your Sweepstars to be as excellent as Dudzai. I love SweepSouth :) the ladies are professional and excellent. Educate your stars on water crisis, not to knock skirtings Give the customer access to check the sweepstar in or out, sometimes they cannot access the app. I assume it's due to no data. My last booking was a total disaster. The Sweepsouth employee didn't show up. When I called, Sweepsouth didn't know anything about it. Then they organised for her to come through anyway (I still don't know why she didn't show up originally). She arrived over an hour late (the original appointment was at 08h00, she eventually arrived after 11h00). I had to leave so I cancelled and booked for the following day, which happened to be a public holiday. The person I spoke to over the phone committed that the appointment had been booked. No one showed up and, to date, I have heard nothing from Sweepsouth about it. Although everything went fine initially, I got the sense that, when I cancelled my bookings (because my long-term domestic was back from maternity leave), Sweepsouth lost all interest. It's a shame. I would have used Sweepsouth every time my domestic wasn't available, but if that's how you treat customers then I will look elsewhere. Why is there only specials to new comers I have had a few sweepstars & have never been disappointed super service thus far. need someone more often but not sure how to know if the person can be trusted to be left alone in my hourse I love the concept of Sweepsouth, however more often than not my sweepsouth appointment gets cancelled on the day of my cleaning because the sweepstar is not available - this makes the service too unreliable and I always have to think twice when considering using Sweepsouth. The reason I am reluctant to get SweepSouth in to clean again is that everytime I book a lady that I have used before (that I am happy with), the booking gets changed last minute. Most of the ladies are NOT trained properly as to how to clean so when I do find someone, I want them only. Only 6 hours is allocated for a 3 bedroom home. My home is small/medium (+-110sqm) and I find that the ladies are not finishing each room and that I am having to clean an entire room on my own. For example : 1) Updating an appointment (e.g. changing start times or extending hours) This would be a common thing as a lot can change between the date of booking and the actual date. Requires cancellation of booking 2) Should be able to see a sweepstars calendar and availability. That way if I have a preferred SweepStar i can see when she's free and then book that day instead of me trying to book everyday until I find her appear as an available Sweepstar. 3) The app should allow from a Sweepstar to request an additional hour (and supply a short message) during during her clean if she feels there is not enough time left to complete all the tasks. The app will then prompt the me (the consumer) to confirm and or decline the additional hour." Great service I have had an item of clothing taken from my home. SweepSouth is convenient, especially if you don't need a weekly domestic worker, but it does not ensure that your home and possessions are safe. Which is a pity. Maybe you need a confirmation of arriving on the client app to make double sure you sweepstar really arrive when they say they do. It would be great to understand why it's not possible to have the same sweepstars assigned, some of them are just brilliant, and then the next time the cleaning is not that great. The last time the sweepstar couldn't find the mop, so she was cleaning the floor with a rag - I felt so very awful, and apologised profusely. It meant there wasn't enough time to do the ironing, so she only managed to iron a few items out of the lot. When we got home we found the mop on our balcony. And the rag she had used was my facecloth. I thought the ladies were mostly proactive and knew their stuff. I think it is a brilliant service with efficient staff both in admin and the housekeepers. I would definitely use you again and recommend your service. My problem is that I am particular about how I want stuff done and I cant do with explaining each time to new people although I know I can request the same people . Well mannered lady that was sent to my place; we loved her immidiately as she displayed humility and willingness to assist. Respectful and works in extreme speed. its not always necessary to work in such speed though. It's a great service! the cleaners are great, but you need to give your workers navigators to be able to find the areas and also you need to include transport money for your workers. Talking with the person coming to my house I realized that they was not having much left at the end of the day, between her transportation and your commission she was getting 60r at the end of the day, I cannot be ok with that, it's borderline slavery Booking was easy but making payment = nightmare Great service, earlier start times would be so useful! From the first appointment there were issues 1) They charged me for cleaning products but used my own (yes the matters have been resolved since but I am just sharing my experience) 2) I have a small townhouse and when the ladies are finished cleaning they leave, which I don't mind but I do mind when I book them for 4 hours and they leave after 3 hours or 3 and a half hours I really wouldn't mind if I came home to a spotless house and they left early but unfortunately that is not the case which brings me to number 3) I have never been over the moon about the state of my house after a sweepstar has been, No matter how many boxes I tick (interior windows, interior walls, inside oven etc.) I am never extremely happy with the cleaning, no furniture gets moved (I have a couch and a coffee table and a double bed) that is all that really needs to be moved but there is always dust under the above furniture, always spiderwebs on the walls even if I tick interior walls, always dust on the front gate in fact none of the doors get a wipe down, I have communicated this when I see a sweepstar. My partner works from home and I have stressed if they need help moving anything, he will help. I mean the cleaning is good but not great. 4) a sweepstar did not show up to one appointment (yes we moved the date) but it was HUGE inconvenience. I do understand this is out of your control but it was dealt with in such a manner that it became my problem. No discount was offered. No manger called to apologise, No effort was made. The replacement they sent following the no show the next week was Thandekile (probably the best sweepstar I have had so far) so I booked her again - the booking was confirmed and then cancelled (they replaced her) I do understand the sweepstars pick their own jobs/booking but again it was just another disappointment 5) I tried to book her again but the only appointment I could get was on the 15th of May that was convenient for us. She was not available until then. again she is clearly popular but again another disappointment and I have a feeling the 15th she will be replaced because she has taken another job more suited etc. Just overall a 5/10, I started off recommending sweepsouth to my friends but no longer, will I still use this service YES as I work full days and it is convenient but am I a happy client - NO "I struggled with the last lady - she was not great at the ironing - I am wothout a domestic at the moment so I have been using sweep south a lot - the selection of ladies is not great. When I 1st started using Sweep South there was a lovely lovely lady - but my history only goes back 3 months - how do I go back further? " Very efficient service all round. Thank you I would have loved the option for asking 2 cleaners at a time to make theirntime at my house shorter. For those days you want a propper clean but dont want them around form six to eight hours It was all round a pleasant experience. Bit expensive. The Sweepstar that I got came almost 2 hours late. I had to go fetch her at the taxi rank. She didnt know how a washing machine works. Didnt clean my oven and fridge as requested. Paid over R300 for 6 hours and no ironing was done. My clothes was still wet on the washing line and I have a tumble dryer. I think the staff needs more experience !! But overall, i needed a house clean so im not totally satisfied or impressed but overall it was good and neatly cleaned on eye level. Oh! My dishes looked liked it was dipped in water and put back into the cupboards.. so no soap was used?? Awesome service! Please be more flexible with time, or rather allow the client to change the appointment time. It is easy to use and very efficient. I am highly impressed "Good day, I would like to express my disappointment with the cleaning services received on 14 April 2018. Firstly, the staff member assigned to me arrived late, but its understandable as it was her first time coming to my place. She didn't make contact to say that she was lost for almost 2 hours. When asked why did she not call me, we were told that ""Management"" doesn't allow them to contact clients. If this is your process, I request for this to be re-looked, as Ruth was lost and had no way around. This I find unacceptable as one phone call to me could have solved the problem.The only reason she found my place was after i called and asked where she was after her expected time of arrival. I explained to her some basic house rules and she then commenced cleaning. I checked in with her now and again as i was between work. On many occasions I had requested her to eat or drink something and her reply was always that she will later. I had made her breakfast which she didn't eat. I then prepared for her lunch which she didn't eat either as she said that she was too busy. Initially I noticed that she did not have very good cleaning skills. When questioned she said that she did work as a domestic previously , which I still don't believe to be true. How does SweepSouth employ staff without doing a test of their skills? Or is this then passed on to me to give you feedback i order to do ""quality checks"". You call yourself cleaning professionals and thats what I thought I would be getting. This is very disappointing. The concept appears to be technology friendly, however please look at the quality of staff you render. I expected my house to be left clean and good by a professional company but this was not so. I had initially asked for a lady from Cosmo City, which was then changed a couple times. How does it make sense to assign a cleaner all the way from Yeoville to work at me in Northriding? She would have to pay exorbitant amounts in taxi fares to and fro. That being said, her cleaning ability is not great at all (lack of experience as mentioned above). My house does not feel cleaned at all. Initially i didn't want to put in this complaint as I felt that she should be given a chance especially since it was her first job with Sweep South. I changed my mind very after I inspected the house this morning and noticed that all was not good At first i thought that I was being fussy. But when my husband(who is a very accepting person), started complaining I felt that this is totally unacceptable. Herewith a list of a few cleaning problems, amongst others: Very slow cleaning overall Only half the fridge was cleaned inside (which i paid extra for) One bedroom not vacummed I had to repeatedly give her the same instructions on how to clean Dust and webs left in main bedroom Lounge carpet not vacummed Toilet not cleaned well, stains visible Basin cleaned poorly Kitchen very very badly cleaned Stovetop very badly cleaned Cupboards not wiped Bin was not emptied or cleaned Counters not wiped well Floor not mopped Dirt visible on loose carpet Ironing done very slowly especially after the fact that i had separated the clothes for ironing and those that needed to be folded. I ended up folding all the clothes which were not for ironing as it was getting late. Patio not mopped Lounge door not cleaned When I questioned her before she left about whether the house was too big, she replied not at all, so I cannot understand why the cleaning was so slow and of such a poor quality. I have a 150sqm house so you can understand why I feel this way. In addition to this, I now have to employ and pay someone else to do this simple job correctly. Hence I would like a full refund as I do not want a repeat of this even which has left me with a unpleasant experience. " Not happy with your service The reliability of your cleaners is a real problem. I have stopped regularly using your service because of this, plus you are expensive. No Sweepstar ratings are misleading on the website - I've rated one Sweepstar 1/5 and her rating still says 4.6/5.... according to her she has no work experience, but website stated 2 years. Sometimes you are SUPER lucky to get a Sweepstar that is excellent, others need LOTS of training. It is frustrating to take my personal work time to train your sweepstars the basic rules of cleaning. I would expect for paying Sweepsouth the commission on the hourly fee that they at least give their Sweepstars a couple of days proper training in the service they are selling. For example: Do not take my cleaning products, toilet paper and bed linen home, it is stealing!.... Do not put dishwashing LIQUID into dishwasher.... Do not put clothes into washing machine on 95 degrees for 2,5 hours... I've lost lot of money and time with straight forward tasks training them and would therefore recommend Sweepsouth 5/10 to others. How about the sweepstars wearing uniforms? I recommend you to friends all the time, even to strangers! Your accounting admin is not good. I have been trying for weeks now to get that straightened out as you are invoicing me incorrectly. I have sent a recon and still no reply. The cleaners damaged the skirting paintwork slightly in the cottage last week presumably from the vacuum cleaner bumping them, annoying the tenant who was unhappy with the cleaning previously. I am less fussy and all was fine with me some sweepstars are amazing and some does not work so good and are so quick to pick up their bag and leave before even asking whether you are happy with the service. I feel with technology at hand, there can be some improvements to the app that will have my book experience better, like; being able to edit any section of the booking before submitting. Currently I have to go back and restart the process to adjust the time. I also get a bit annoyed with customer service, so quick to respond but leaves me contacting you guys again because not al my questions were answered 1st time. "Had a terrible experience the last time I used sweepsouth which was on Sunday the 15th of April. The service I received was way below par. First of all, the original sweepsouth cleaner couldn't make the appointment and I was told on the day that another one would be arranged and she could only be there in an hour's time. Eventually she arrived at 11h30. The time of arrival had an impact on the washing drying time which was understandable. I expected a good cleaning if that was the case and I must be honest, the house still looked very dusty when she was done and I had to point out blatent dusty areas on surfaces that was overlooked while she was cleaning. I'm not one to complain but I am not happy. I paid for 8 hours and the lady was finished in 5. Also you are not really pairing up staff by location, my sweepstar had to travel miles! Some of the ladies need to pay some attention to their personal hygiene. I do not want a smelly person in my house. Wonderfully convenient. Sweepstar is mostly on time (but it doesn't bother me if she's a little late - I am not home during the day anyway). I did get a notification one morning to say she had arrived when in fact she only arrived 45min later. Very happy with service Absolutely great I would really like to get the same Sweepstar for each of my appointments if at all possible. I've had a great experience to date, punctuality is often a concern for me however I've not had to worry about that using Sweep South. Great Service indeed! Sweepsouth is the most outstanding service & exceptionally well run !!! I am very happy with the services. She was on time, efficient and thorough. Will definitely make use of this service again Always enjoy the SweepStars! Multiple times I’ve booked cleanings and they’ve been cancelled by SweepSouth with no attempt to make amends. I would never suggest this service to anyone I booked three times for the fridge to be cleaned inside, but the sweepstars dont ever do it. When I complain I get a generic answer from yourl. As a results I have stopped using this service Sure. I booked normal cleaning PLUS inside walls to be washed and the oven to be cleaned. The walls were never washed and the oven wasn't touched inside or out. The Kitchen counter was not touched at all. The bit that was done, was done well and for that I thank her.I had to go out for and hour and a half and left her there. I didn't feel the need to check because I trusted her to know what she has to do and that it would be done upon my return. She was ready to go so I did not want to waste her time. The booking I made for today wasn't honoured. However, the service is good. Memory was lovely and did a great job I cancel recurring bookings. On the app the cancelled bookings still appear. I would prefer to see only upcommig bookings without cancelled. Was not the most amazing experience I am still awaiting someone to respond to my complaint It was easy to use and I felt very informed and in control. Consider expanding to other regions Great idea but I have not always been happy with the quality of work done .When finding someone I liked i found it difficult to get them again.Time consuming showing a new person everything then if you like them its difficult to get the same person again. Most of the Star's use 10 times the amount of cleaning materials than what I use- literally Friday 20 April will be my first experience with Sweep South. Looking forward to that Love it! The estimated time is generous, for the person earning a living. I don't think see has been busy the whole time. Just wonder how it then works with extra tasks like washing window's, are you then still charged for it, while it is easily done, within the time the lady is working. When requesting person to bring their own cleaning material it must be ensured it is done. Also have a choice to clean cupboards ,excetera instead of cleaning rooms. When I make a booking I keep getting sweeper changes but one never gets allocated to me. Hence I canceled my recent reservation Worst cleaning experience and customer service. I cringe everytime I see the name. I dread ever being forced to use SweepSouth again. Convenient and I trust the people who come to my house Do have a regular lady so will only use your services when on holiday. No thank you. Love the app but the feedback I got from the workers ain’t so good hey like not to be nasty but treat your workers like u would like to be treated hey Having a cleaning service facilitated through an app is a great idea, however, the prices are a bit too steep. As a result, when I recommend SweepSouth to anyone, I'm sure to inform them that this is a pricey service and to only use it if absolutely necessary. You need to train your employees better and instil in them integrity. If I ask that you please ensure x y z is done, they should do it and understand we pay money for the service. If there’s damage or they can’t complete the work they should say and not leave without completing or ask to extend the hours. I’m sitting with a microwave which doesn’t work which I noticed weeks after Dineo came to clean. Leaving cloudy mirrors, shower doors, using furniture polish on a plasma, not wiping cupboard doors which are obviously grimy, not putting a fitted sheet when replacing a bed linen etc. 1 of the ladies told me they have a WhatsApp group where they discuss your clients and tell each other don’t go there, they are untidy. Iv had a few disappointing experiences and I’m on the verge of no longer using Sweepsouth Thank you for cleaning my home. A pleasure to come back to a clean home. Lack of Consistency is reason in scared to recommend you. Sometimes the cleaning lady is awesome and other times shocking Love the convenience of SweepSouth and that I can have my home cleaned when it suits my pocket. Travelling for the sweepstars can be an issue. Or simple navigation to my place has always been an issue. The star sweepers vary in ability to clean Works very well, just find it a bit expensive for where we are at right now. It's inconvenient to have a different lady each month - they need to be shown everything each time and I do not feel comfortable leaving them on their own in case they have any problem. Maybe try and organize transport for the sweepstars so that they can start in time I have been a bit disappointed with your company. I have had people not show up and come late etc and the other day one of your ladies broke my flask. Seems like no training has been done with the ladies you hire. There needs to be some kind of etiquette when coming into other peoples homes. I was home during the whole time the cleaner was there and did not want to interfere as she was supposed to be professional. The cleaning was really not up to my standards and I spend the following Sunday re-cleaning my whole house as it still felt dirty. Efficient, polite, thorough staff. "I used Sweep South once and my cleaner was 2 hours late for her appointment, broke two wine glasses and didn’t do ALL the jobs on the Sweep South list. I felt too bad to give her a bad rating or say she was late because I know she had already cleaned another apartment before mine (in seapoint), she had to travel to Rondebosch (and find my apartment on her own), I didn’t want her to lose her job and I understand everyone has a bad day. My biggest issue with Sweep South is that if I select my windows to be cleaned - it’s only cleaned internally. I feel that an app like this should cater to clean/do jobs like external windows or I will have to do that myself anyways. So for those reasons I’d much rather clean my apartment myself and get someone in every now and then to do the hard to do jobs (external windows etc.) I do however like the idea of not committing to a cleaner on a specific day every week because my working schedule isn’t consistent. That was the reason for trying Sweep South in the first place." The lady I got was not enthusiastic at all... She took longer then I thought and I was not happy I love your service because it is convenient and easy to use. All your staff are competent, but the best ones seem to leave you. Perhaps you could find out why and improve staff retention. I was let down 150% & still charged! "I have recommended SweepSouth to a few people. The one couple that used SweepSouth through my recommendation were unimpressed and when I asked why, they told me that they had 2 ladies assigned to them due to the size of their house and the ladies worked very inefficiently and had to add on extra hours at the end to get everything done. I've actually had the same experience. When more than 1 SweepStar is assigned, the 2 SweepStars don't know how to share tasks and so they waste unnecessary time. In my case, they both split the cleaning until only the ironing was left (I had a lot of washing) but then since I only have 1 iron, only one could iron while the other packed each item of clothing away, one-by-one. It was such a waste of time as the one SweepStar watched the other iron. There were a few times throughout the day when one of them wasn't working as they were watching the other since I only have 1 mop, 1 broom, etc... They should learn to rather have one of them mop while the other irons or 1 sweep while the other does dishes, etc... I ended up getting charged for an extra hour for each of them putting my total as 12 hours (when I expected 10 hours), which is quite expensive. That was the last time I used 2 SweepStars on one day. I rather adjusted my hours down thereafter. So my only recommendation would be to train your SweepStars on how to share the load when there are 2 of them for one house. Despite your claim that the ladies are proficient across the full spectrum of household tasks, through trial and error over a year, I have had to change our routine to ensure that the laundry is ready on the day of the SS more suitable to ironing. Etc., etc. Your average time calculating needs to ad at least 30min more time. Very positive experience It's easy. Its constant. I don't have to worry about excuses made why they did not pitch up for work. They work the amount of hours paid for. I would like confirmation that the cleaners that are sent are reference checked and registered for UIF On a previous occasion I asked one of the ladies working at my house what she earns per hour and she said R25. I also asked about the cleaning products they use and how the company refunds them; it seems as if they do not always get refunded. I think you have a fantastic system, but I feel uncomfortable using the option of your cleaning products if the cleaners are not refunded. I also don't want to use someone at my house for less that about 8 hours if they earn only R25 per hour and must pay for transport as well. Could you please advise? you must please send your employers for decent training. One cannot stand behind them and tell them what to do constantly. Thebogo in the beginning used an app where you are informed when she is on her way, when she arrived and when she finished, but none of the other Sweepstars made use of it after her. That was VERY useful. Please reinstate. It is difficult or challenging changing appointment dates on the website. Please make it more user-friendly to change appointments, particularly changing one date within a series of recurrent bookings. I would recommend removing the 7am slot on sundays as previous sweepstars have mentioned it's difficult to find transport to arrive on time.
